Do we pay for our volunteers?
No. A seat is somebody who signs in. If a lector only ever receives her schedule and answers by email or in the porch, she costs nothing, and your roster can be as long as your parish is.
What happens if a card fails?
The calendar stays readable and stops being editable until it is sorted out. Locking a parish out of a schedule it has already published would punish the congregation for an expired card in the office.
Can we get our data out?
Yes, at any time, as a file you can open. The calendar belongs to the parish and not to us, and that matters most on the day a parish leaves.
We already use Google Calendar. Why change?
Google Calendar does not know what Sunday it is, cannot tell you a Mass is short two lectors, and will happily let two groups book the hall at once. Ordio answers all three, and still publishes to your website and to every phone the way a shared calendar does.
