Two things, priced simply. The calendar costs $2 a month for each person who signs in. The scheduler is one flat price sized by how many Masses you schedule. Volunteers are free in both, in any number, and everything each product does is included in its price. No setup fee, no call to sit through.
The Calendar

Only logins count. A lector who receives her schedule and never signs in is free, and always will be.

The Scheduler
Added To The CalendarThe scheduler is an add-on: it fills rosters from the Mass schedule your Ordio calendar keeps, so it needs the calendar underneath it, with at least one seat. One flat price for the whole parish, sized by the Masses and services you schedule ministers for each week. Every size includes everything the scheduler does, reminders by email and text too.

Questions A Finance Council Asks
Do we pay for our volunteers?
No. A seat is somebody who signs in. If a lector only ever receives her schedule and answers by email or in the porch, she costs nothing, and your roster can be as long as your parish is.
What happens if a card fails?
The calendar stays readable and stops being editable until it is sorted out. Locking a parish out of a schedule it has already published would punish the congregation for an expired card in the office.
Can we get our data out?
Yes, at any time, as a file you can open. The calendar belongs to the parish and not to us, and that matters most on the day a parish leaves.
Can we use the scheduler without the calendar?
No, and that is what makes it good. The scheduler fills rosters from the Mass schedule the calendar already keeps, so a moved Mass moves its ministers and Christmas is never hand-entered. One seat of the calendar is enough to run it.
We already use Google Calendar. Why change?
Google Calendar does not know what Sunday it is, cannot tell you a Mass is short two lectors, and will happily let two groups book the hall at once. Ordio answers all three, and still publishes to your website and to every phone the way a shared calendar does.
